hi guys,
well, ive been having trouble with my gs,
the things is, its got plenty of fuel in and all that and it will run.
just not very well.
i bought the bike 6 months ago, it had onley done 18,000 miles, for a twenty year old bike it aint bad goin. it had been stood for a year so i cleaned the carbs, flushed the tank and put an inline filter from the fuel tap to the carbs.
the thing is that i would be riding normally then as if from no where the bike will bog down, it struggles to rev and eventualy cuts out. which is very dangerous when your on the m1 i can tell ya. it wasnt a good day out.
well, once this has occured, i would put the choke on and it will start, or sometimes struggle, ive also found that if if im trying to start it on the choke when this happens, if i opent the throttle the revs will drop even though the chokes on. so i got a used fuel tap from a local bike shop and put that on this morning, but it happend again, this time it just wouldnt start at all, not with choke, nothing, it wont bump, and the battery is now flat because of me trying to get it going. any suggestions very welcome
