Err have you tried removing your add-ons see if one of them is causing a bug, if not you can always try purging firefox from your pc, delete everything including registry stuff, then try re-installing it?

I take it you are using firefox 3, i heard of quite a few people having this problem with firefox 3. Although they just released 3.0.5 which has aparently fixed this problem (i can't confirm that as i haven't had the back/foward button problem)

And Matt, how dare you suggest he uses IE...that is an insult to all those who use the internet Shocked Laughing

Prob already tried but go to view, tool bars and customize, then try restoring the defaults.

If it is a bug though prob won't help at all.

Have you checked for any spyware or viruses? If you haven't got an AV then get a trial for NOD32 from here and just root through all your drives see if you've got some malicious code somewhere that's causing a problem.
