But posting about wether you think your girlfriend should have lost so much weight in the last week or something is stretching the remit of general chat IMVHO.

Because she used to make herself sick until the point she had no energy and was very ill. I tend to get a bit upset about stuff like that and so when she told me she'd lost that much weight in a week i was quite panicked, i cant ask my real life friends because they all know her...

anyway it doesn't matter, i wont make anymore topics and will keep posting down to a minimum, or unless it is absolutely neccesary

Don't do that mate, just post when you feel like it, not when you think you should, if you get what I mean. Thumbs Up Karma
Heck, I'm only one under you in the stats, but I don't keep starting new threads, wing them out for a bit. Wink

okay im sorry i didn't mean to irritate anyone, i really hate being in places where people dislike me, im a pretty strange person that has an excessive amount of insecurity and over emotionality (if thats a word) and not close to enough confidence or likeability (IMO) so even online i get upset etc over stupid things..sorry if i ever overreact and stuff...

This sounds like a VERY serious problem, you need to talk to her parents now if you havnt done so already. Sounds like you GF needs to speak to someone about her problem, now before it get even worse.

yeah i do actually realise that, i swear if she ever sees this she'd go mad..she also used to cut herself and if shes down im down, she goes to see a counciller which i think helps..

but even though it upsets me I'm not better off without her due to the simple fact that i love her, and couldnt live without her, besides, i told her id always be there for her..and the thought of life without her is a life i dont want to live..

I'm a twat arent I, lol

No, doesn't sound like it actually... as far as posting goes, you just need to find a happy medium. Dont take it to heart ok?

We all have to learn sometime! Smile

Far from it, but i think you'd feel better from talking this stuff out, rather than avoiding the issue with out of place threads. You never know, people here may have experienced the same, and may be able to help.

I would say the Beatles, not just because I like them ( a hell of alot) but because I believe they are the best. Might be a boring and obivious choice to some but meh Razz

Eh...maybe a motorbike forum ain't the place for this - maybe give the Samaritans a call mate - if it's THAT bad, might help to talk to someone. Have you been to see a doctor about your GF?

Also - and don't take offence to this, but people come home from work\college\whatever and like to sit and read through the posts on BCF (I know I do) and it is usually a good way of getting away from office stress\a break from doing college work etc and to read posts like this about your GF being ill and you are obviously depressed (hell - I've been treated for depression and I feel it again reading your posts), it justs doesn't keep in tone with the general run of the forum - geddit?

Sorry again if I sound insensitive - but get a grip man! Like I said - I have (like many others I would assume) have my own problems - do I post them on here? NO, I go to the right place for the right thing. This is BCF, where I discuss bikes and stuff. I go to the doctor if I'm ill, hope you can see where I'm coming from here. As I also said, I've been treated for depression in the past, I know how it feels, you seem depressed by the way you are talking. But the way I used to handle it was by shutting myself out from other people - I didn't even want to see my girlfriend at some points - It wasn't me at all, it was horrible.

The advice the others have given about posting new threads is great, so I won't add anymore on that.

Get some professional help - quick.

Mark

Okay, I don't need professional help..people asked why i asked about the weight loss thing and i simply stated it was because she used to have a problem, I am neither looking for attention, or upset. and as I said somewhere on the site, I don't want to talk about it with anyone here (and I havn't) so please stop bringing it up, i simply stood up for myself when someone said it was strange to ask a question about weight.
