Due to the deluge of pm's I've recieved complaining about him Springbok_Tony has been banned from posting messages or entering live chat.

Tony - obviously you've upset people enough that they don't want you here, you can still read the forum but if you want your posting priviledges back you're going to need to email me and explain yourself. Please don't fuck around creating different user accounts or I'll be forced to ban you permanently by IP address, and if that happens you'll be out for good.

If anyone else has any comments please post them or pm them to me in confidence.

My parents were only racist towards one group of people when I was a kid: white southafricans. Unfortunatley people like Tony bare this out as still being reasonable.

Also, while I'm not offended by the bits of porn that have been popping up, I'm sure some poeple will be. Also I tend to look through here at work, soit can be abit dodgy at times.

Anyway I hope that this is the end of his annoying comments which he should just keep to himself rather than offending the majority of this group.

I've just banned his current user name, I'm hoping he's responsible enough to either disappear or some up with an apology that you lot will accept. If he persists then he'll be banned for good.

As for the porn thread I've marked it out so you don't accidentally open it at work. If you're going to post mucky pictures please say so in the subject line so the people don't accidentally view it.

...I personally don't think that he is a "bad" person, but I strongly disagree with the way that he expresses his opinions...everyone is certainly entitled to their own views, but there is a limit...

...there is also a time and a place...freedom of speech can only be enforced in wholly public environments, and the chat room cannot be classified as one...

...basically, we do not feel that the views that he expressed were relevant to our "topic of conversation"...after all, this is "bike chat forums", and not "views on race, employment class, and gender equality chat forums"...

Well if korn got a 'few' pms about his attitude (dont know how many exactly) then he obviously annoyed more people than just me!

He has always been ok up until now. But that nite he did spend at least 2hours constantly trying provoke a response from others, by making 'troublemaking comments'.

Basically, I had no problems with him expressing his points of veiw, but after a while, he became very offensive towards everyone in the chat room becuase we didnt agree with what he was saying.

After repeated requests to change the subject and numerours attempts to ignore what had been said, he continued to post racist, bigoted comments - which were exceptionally offensive to a lot of people.

i was in the chat with Sprngbok_Tony and while he may have been offensive, i found many others were being quite offensive (wild goose, doddmaster, scooby) they then turned on me and accused me of being Springboks "right hand man" and used quite foul language, so if you're going to ban him i think you should ban some of the other offensive members.
