I'm going home in a moment, and someone has blocked me in by parking a scooter about 2cm from my car.

Do I move it? I wouldn't mind if someone moved my bike in that circumstance, but then I'd never block someone in in the first place...

Well if I accidentally blocked someone I would rather they moved my bike slightly (without damaging it!) rather than try to squeeze out and knock my bike over.

Get a mate to pick the front up with you around the rear and just shuffle it along, out of the way - making sure not to do any damage. Of course, that's presuming you don't know where the owner lives.

Just hope it's not one of those tubby 500cc scooters as you may need more than just 1 mate to shift one of those fucking monstrosities.

If its a scooter, and its inconsiderately parked, you can rest assured that the owner is a pedboi.
So its perfectly OK to set it on fire, then imprison him in your basement in a gimp suit for the rest of his short life.

Move it with great care and a witness watching and then place the following note on the seat.

Dear Ped-Boi.
Next time you park like a nob I will drive over your ped and jam the broken bits up your tender young bum.
Merry Xmas

Move it onto the pavement with the 1930 Ariel note on it, with a bit of lick he/she will get a parking ticket. Wink

I moved one in Tescos carp park the other day from where it had been abandoned directly across the back of three other bikes (instead of slotting it in on the end like any normal person would have).

It had a U-lock on so I spun it through 180 degrees on the stand then bodily lifted it about 6" sideways.

The thing is, if a biker moved it then great. We know how sidestands work.

But a cager? They'd probably push it forward or too far to the right and it would end up falling over. That would be my concern.

Like drunk people having a sit on your bike while its on the sidestand. No idea that they simply aren't designed to bare any extra weight then the bike.

Ah well, sometimes its not worth appearing a prick Laughing

Was on bloody gravel then too Shocked

Point being is, I'd have no (real) bother with it being moved by someone who knws what they're doing. But any old numpty having a bash. Pah.

Theres a reason I let her get away with sitting full weight on a bike whilst it was on the sidestand.

Thumbs Up

I believe you're supposed to get them to sit in the 'proper position' for the pic; bent over more with arms parallel to the road Wink.

I could tell you some stories.... but basically, subterfuge wasn't needed.

All I could think of when looking at that was "Tit wank, Tit wank, Tit wank, Tit wank, Tit wank, Tit wank, Tit wank"
