My father has this bike and he has passed his test over 2 years now and now he wants to de-restrict it. I've had a search and couldn't find anything relevant. Could someone tell me how and whats envolved in de-restricting this machine? Or even a link would do.. Thumbs Up

BTW it's a 2000 Yamaha Thundercat, YZF600R

Thanks

Probably got washers in the carbs - it does depend on who and how they did the restriction.

As G says, could be washers in between the carbs and inlet manifold, or it could be a throttle stop.

Cheers

stinkwheel Well I just had my hands up a pigs fanny. Which makes your concerns pale into insignificance.

If it's just washers isn't it like a half hour job?

By half hour job I meant not bothersome. Not actually half an hour. Make sense?
