Just wanted to say hi to everyone. My son told me about this forum i have a Kawaski zzr 600 my first bike, i am a bit of a late starter but i intend to make up for lost time. I live in west yorkshire and drive a truck for a living the road is my home. So now i have my bike i just need some good roads and some good company and the fun shall begin.

Oh! i intend to spend as much time on my bike as i can, i am goin on a euro tour in Aug/sep so i want to put plenty of miles under my belt.

zzr600 is an excellent touring bike (better than the bmw tourers according to fast bikes) just make sure you have a scott oiler before doing any serious miles! (or get used to buying allot of chains and doing allot of adjusting).
Just go at your own pace is my advice, following your mate as he takes a "brave/stupid" overtake could land you in trouble, if your not sure then wait back, have a look at the site in my sig its all very useful stuff and will help you stay between the hedges Thumbs Up
