Yeah, standard is always nice. The mileage and the fact it was standard is what tempted me to buy it.

The damper was £160 off eBay.

Wasn't brand new, was a couple weeks old from new but the guy sold his 6r.

It's in as new condition though Very Happy

You know, I never really liked the look of these 636s, always looked as if Kawasaki had stuck the nose cone on upside down.

They're kinda growing on me now though....I guess they look quite pretty in comparison to some of the machines rolling out showrooms today.

Thumbs Up

Very nice. I think the looks are an aquired taste though. The tail is sweet and the front I didn't used to like but it defo grows on you.
Plus they're supposed to be very capable bikes arnt they?

Heres mine

Not seen many blues

1 in Brighton
2nd here in Portsmouth but he did a shyte job to it Thumbs Down

Done a few little bits.
Dark Screen, Solo seat which isnt shown, Rear underseat pipes, (Had mixed reactions but alot of positives) Wheels the be sprayed within this month hopefull, full R&G crash bars/bungs/cotton reels. Now has bright yellow rim tape Laughing
Think I just spent under 1k on her.
Am changing back to a single side racefit can shortly - the underseat's are a right pain if you have to remove them - Or if they fall off (like mine did yesterday)
Still need rear sets/wavey disks and a few bits and bobs.
I didnt buy the shitty blueflame can, was shop stock.
Nice to see another blue 636 going about! Thumbs Up

Lovely bike Louise, liking the under seat exhausts too.

Where are the single side racefit cans from? Got a link to a picture of one?

I think I should get some R&G crash bungs asap as the ones currently on the bike wouldn't save anything Shocked

I'm not sure if to go with some rim tape in blue or not?

How come your respraying the wheels? Which colour?

Aslong as it was the exact same blue I think rim tape would suit it Thumbs Up

Well looking on Ebay the MotoGP ones are cool.
Unsure where im getting the race fit from, I need to ring around.
My friend who also has the 636 got a termignoni exhaust which is for the 06 R6 and got a link pipe made to fit.
That sounds awesome. Thumbs Up
Wheels because they have seen 44k miles and are a bit corroded Laughing
Colour wise unsure again. Wanted gloss black, then maybe a small blue flick - Now poss a satin gold.
