Really really really fugged off

…I’ve really hurt my back Crying or Very sad saving the bike from falling when I used my new Oxford paddock stand for the first time yesterday. The fuggin thing bent and caused the bike to topple off the stand.!!!!!!!
The stand has ended up looking like a sodding banana

Mad Mad Mad Mad Mad Mad

a quick inspection showed thankfully that the bike is ok...

Write to the maker and complain. I've personally never heard of one bending though.

took it back to Jordens at Gildersome Leeds They hadn't seen one bend like that before and I got a Micron stand for the price difference between the 2, £20

used it yesterday afternoon and she went up no sweat....https://img2.imageshack.us/img2/4197/banana10.gif

lesson here is make sure the stand you are buying will lift the bike you have.. Shocked

if it said on the box not to be used on anything over 150kgs then fair enough, but when it doesn't you expect it to be fit for purpose and at 30 notes it's cheap, but not that cheap...I'm lucky that the bike didn't totally go over, it is 'only' 225 kgs and that I don't have a st1100 (fat fugging 275kg thing)

My uncle had an oxford stand. That started to bend when he tried to use it on his bike. Think the zx12r was too much for it although he did spend quite a lot on it. But this was to my advantage as I now have it for my NSR! Quite a bit lighter than the zx12. Looking at it I can see why it wouldn’t hold the zx12, the construction of it seems a little 'unsupported' for holding up a bike. Confused
