I've been studying nsr125.com's workshop section, looking for something to explain how I can find (and clean up) the spark plugs in my NSR. https://www.nsr125.com/sparkplug.htm

Unfortunately I think my bike is an earlier model than is covered here: It is an import from Italy, year of build is 1992, I think the model num is something like NSR125L... I'll attach a pic in case it would help someone identify the bike I'm talking about. Yeah, from what I can gather browsing these forums, it sounds like I might have over-choked the bike when I first got it a month ago, and the spark plugs need cleaning up or replacing to make it run properly.

Thanks for any help someone can give me!! Smile

tom.

The spark plug is right at the top of the engine in the cylinder head, you will see a thick cable going to it with a rubber cap, pull this off then take off the spark plug. You will need to remove the side fairing at the front and you will see it.

Spark plugs on a 2 stroke are pretty much a consumeable. Put a new one in.

All the best
