For me it's been a great year for albums. My top 5 are probably:

5. 13th Star - Fish
4. Nostradamus - Judas Priest
3. Sloe Gin - Joe Bonamassa
2. Along Came A Spider - Alice Cooper
1. Black Ice - AC/DC

Honerable mentions should also go to Death Magnetic (Metallica), Motorizer (Motorhead) and Bad For You Baby (Gary Moore).

I'd struggle to name 5 albums that Ive liked this year at all, let alone put them in a list.

Disappointments have included The Killers new album and the new oasis album (not a suprise though).

Ive liked The Kings of Leon and Scouting For Girls though this year.

If we're talking new music released in 2008 then I can only count two albums:

Circus Money - Walter Becker
Along Came a Spider - Alice Cooper

If we're talking any music that we bought in 2008 then I can't pick as there were too many good albums, as I replaced most of my CDs with either digitally remastered or enhanced audio discs.
