Hey, my Dad has got jury service in a few weeks and is nervous as the last time he did it he completely fucked up reading out the oath, just wondered what it was so he could prepare for next time.

I did jury service and never had to read an oath? That was for a very serious case too, but it got trown out of court 2 weeks later. Can't he take some of those herbal chill pills Laughing

Never had to read a oath when i did it 2 years ago.
Unless your dad was the forman of jury, you don't get to say owt.

You're dad will be sworn in and asked to take an oath on a religious script of his choice, or, be affirmed.
