Hi all,

After much hunting and looking around I pick up my new to me bike this afternoon. I have bought a 2001 R6 in blue.

It has done 22,000 and has various upgrades including a akrapovic can and datatool alarm 12months mot and 6 months tax left with a brand new rear tyre which has covered just 110 miles.

I am dead chuffed with it and can't wait to pick her up this afternoon!!

Gor her for the bargain price of £1500 which I think is really good. A bit of the lacker has started to come off around the nose cone but a mate is going to sort that out for me so not all bad.

Here is a pic when we all went out last summer.

Will put some pics up later on tonight!

Cheers,
Simon

Hi all,

Picked her up this morning and I love her to bits. It was smooth and rode really well. I bought the bike of a guy i know and he wouldn't stitch me up.

All that needs doing is sorting out the fairings really, she just needs a bit of tlc, I am going to strip her down and get the fairings painted next weekend with a bit of luck.

Does anyone know where I can download a manual for a datatag alarm at all? I have the remote and it seems to work ok but wanted to have the manual to go through the options etc? The remote says datatool 433?

Many thanks,
Si

That was a picture from last summer, when he went out with the owner (his mate) of the R6.

To the OP - Nice bike, love R6s! Would you consider that a bargain at £1500?

£1500 for a 600 sports toy? Yeah as long as it's sound.
