Cant offer much advice but that does look a bit flimsy and 68 kgs doesnt seem like anywhere near enough weight, im only a scrawny 12 stone and I can ab crunch and lat pulldown more than 68kg.

I think you would be better off with just free weights and a bench.

seems like not a lot for the money your paying.
mines near enough the same as that, but it goes up to 100kg.
and it was £150. got it for my 16th Cool

i'd like to say i use it a lot, but its so much harder to will yourself to do it at home. its lucky to be used much more than twice a week.
hence why i joined a gym.

multi-gyms are crap!

Buy a weights bench, squat rack and free weights. you can get all that for around £200-£300 depending what you go for.

Much better and more versatile.

Much better and versatile, if done properly you don't half feel it, much more so than gym equipment! Shocked

Must admit, a kettle bell is on my to-buy list! Do you need much room to use one tho? I mean in terms of floor space, I tihnk "turkish get up" ?? is a kettlebell exercise and needs a bit of floor space? I might be wrong.

if you can lie down and stand up with your arm up without hitting anything, you can do pretty much all exercises

I did an induction a few weeks ago, buying one tomorrow, trust me i do kickboxing twice a week and kettlebell had me cream crackered in 10 mins!
I'm buying the 12kg ball as thats what i was using, if you do the two handed exercises i was using 2x 8kg's.

A word of warning though it is fokkin intensive, you're not to strain yourself at all after a workout as it makes your back weak for a little bit till you've been doing it a few times, a mistake i made when moving furniture after a workout and pulling all the muscles in my back Mad

Certain types of kettlebell are better, so buy a cheap shitter.

Hes Right
I do rugby twice a week and this had me blowing in 10 minutes

me and my dad both use them.

ive managed to work my way up to 2 ladders on 24kg C&P

and the ladder sequence is

1 left arm 1 Right arm
2L 2R
3L 3R
4L 4R
5L 5R

also the kettlebell swings will make u knackered in about 3 minutes

Heres a good video

Hmm very tempting! I have been doing weights but fancy a change and think I need something a bit faster paced for a bit, less changing plates and more working out.

Might get myself a kettlebell and do as per that video.

What size kettlebell would you suggest?

I'm not that strong or fit, can only bench 50kg (+ bar) which is pretty crap. squat about 80kg, deadlift about 90kg before I run out of plates... so as you can see im weak as fook and cardio fitness is probably even worse.

cheers

I would say 12kg, believe me swinging them about is no walk in the park, 16kg will have you on the floor.
