Looks like an XJ600 fairing, and an FZR600 tank/rear end :-

I want to like it, but its lines are too haphazard, methinks. Thoughts?

i had seen it the fairing is a bit large and angular for my tastes in a cafe racer, a nice smooth dunstall-esque half fairing with a rounf headlight and it'd be alright.

I kinda like it in a in a strange sort of way just because it's different but wouldn't own it myself. Embarassed

The bars look kinda odd have they been fashioned out out a towel rail or something???

Depends what reaction you want... I squinted for far longer than I would have liked to trying to work out "what the hell is that bike made of?"

No amount of squinting makes it look good though. I'm with you Shaggy, it's just... well, wrong.

those are "jota" bars, and are popular with cafe racer makers as can keep the standard bar clamps and still get the effects of clipons. Thumbs Up

The front fairing is just way too big. Looks out of proportion, like a bobble head.

i like the idea, but i'd ditch the headlight fairing and just go with a single round headlight,

i wonder how hard it would be to shorten the drive shaft, the bike looks a little long,

Everything forward of the engine/fuel tank just looks odd, like he crashed it and the only front end he had to repair it was that funny tall pointy bit off another bike. Not bad looking workmanship wise but it just looks WRONG! Thumbs Down

Thoughts?

Fuck me...it's street hawk.

Like the Jota bars though...would suit my cafe racer project a treat.

if you put a bit of time and effort into that it would make an excellent cafe-racer

would ditch that front fairing before i got it to my house though lol.

Hi

I actually quite like it. Not 100%, but at least someone has tried something different. Improvement on a standard Virago.

Fairing looks like it came from an air cooled Kawasaki GPz.

All the best

Keith

It's a bike, it presumably goes. It earns points for not being a car.
It's not as good as my bike so I don't want it..
Looking at some of crap in my sig that I've ridden over the years, and that's not the full list, I'd have wanted it then. Very Happy

Its ugly, and the shape doesn't really work... but I think its very cool.

Someone has gone to the trouble (in a non nerdy way IE no bolt ons and tartiness) to build a genuinely custom motorcycle.

I like it! Thumbs Up Smile

Not the bike I'd choose to ride, but yeah it dosn't look bad as such, just not something that presses my buttons.

That said I bet it becomes lovely as the weather worsens, kind of the way that 10 to 2 turns every girl in the nIghtclub into Sex kittens and all the Men into Adonises.

Its kinda like a more modern Bozozuku type bike, but its long and low like a drag bike. Its definately growing on me.

I also like the clocks and the Jota bars. I think its a brilliant eighties retro... Shame it probably has no performance to speak of...
