Your riding the ducati in the snow? With your record dude, I'd be riding the trashed r6 everytime.

Riding a Ducati in the snow should be made a criminal offence.

I rode my DL1000 in the snow today for the first time, but I walked the road first to see if the compacted snow was turning to ice. It was so I walked back to my bike and rode on the virgin stuff, I eased off waay before the junction and let it roll to a stop.

TBH the hardest part of today was getting it on and off the drive as at 225Kg I was struggling to get it upright off the side-stand as my left foot kept slipping.

Still I'm glad I got home in one piece and didn't drop it, but I'm sorry to hear your bad news. Sad

Was pretty lethal out on the roads today, my entire street was covered by one huuuge length of black ice which was interesting to ride over.... then went to fill up with petrol as I needed some only to find once I got to the garage that the key slot in my petrol cap was packed full of ice Rolling Eyes got back home ok though.

I would have laughed only I got to the petrol station and had exactly the same problem. Like a div I'd washed my bike on Saturday after filling up and hadn't tried to use the lock until this evening.

-7.2 when I left Gloucester - 4.6 when I got to Avonmouth this morning, -2.3 when I left Avonmouth - 6.5 when I got home this evening, bleedin' freezin'

My truck has a roller shutter to secure the bed, my tools are in the bed... the roller shutter has frozen solid and I can't open it Laughing

Coldest I've seen on the trucks thermometer was -5... sure it's been colder though.
