Celebrity Death Match 2009

Well we have a slightly darkly humoured pool among my friends as to which celebrities are going to cark it in 2009. Thought it might be interesting to get a wider point of view...

The way we usually play this is to have three candidates, with varying levels of award if they do indeed drop off during that year. Obviously as this is online I can't go round giving you all 50 quid so it's just for a bit of fun.

Candidates are...

Obvious: Someone who is either ancient or very unwell, the sort everyone guesses, e.g. the Queen Mother when she was alive.

Outside: Someone who lives a thrilling life, or takes risks. Or just plain nutters! But even so you really don't expect it. For example, Steve Irwin.

If Only: The one you hope against hope will happen to remove some irritating publicity-hogging waste of oxygen from your sight. Paris Hilton is a good example.

I'll start it off with my three selections for the year.

Obvious - Jade Goody, reckon she's not got long to go.

Outside - Barack Obama, some yank with a gun is gonna take a pot-shot at him surely!

If Only - Amy Winehouse... grrrrrrr
