Quick Release Fairing Screws?

As above M&P, demon tweaks, ebay etc. I tended to stick a bit of tape over them when racing to stop them falling out... but I suspect that may not be the aesthetic 'race' look you're wanting if it's for a road-bike.

yeah its going to be for a road bike - was just thinking it would make cleaning over winter a bit easier.

Id be able to get rid of more crap and clean the engine prpperly if i didnt have to unscrew all the fairings to get at it

I got mine from hein gericke but they were unplated zinc so they corroded to buggery! Eventually, i purchased new screws from ebay for a tenna (chrome plated). Best get the clip on sliders rather than the rivet because it makes installation much easier. Not sure on how the rivet retainers are secured on? lockwire?

Either way, i'm happy that i got a dzus set since all i have to do is just pop them off and my whole lower fairing comes off with ease. It's a 1 minute job and means i can do servicing and cleaning a whole load quicker.

Yeh, but its funny how they don't supply the rivets with the kit ... in my case, rivets wouldn't really work since the ends of the fairing lips are rounded off so the only way the dzus retainer nuts are staying on is because they're clipped and crimped on

I think they're expecting you to have rivets if you already have a riveter .
The price is the other 'issue' with them - stupidly expensive to my mind.
