Yeah, sorry for missing the wheelie, but it is really time-consuming making a video edit ... and I am not very patient, I had ~3hrs of video to flick through to compile what you see ... I evidently flicked past your wheelie. Its quite cool as you can see my bike 'clearing out' too!! Very Happy

So just for you you big kid ...

After you squnied about not having your wheelie in ... and just it on its own makes for a very shot vid ... I made another vid, basically the whole of the you following me bit ... from out the gate, until you had to pull off where you ran out of fuel ..

So you can show off to your olds your onboard riding, and everyone can see me accidentally/instinctively sticking my knee out and sliding off the inside of the seat a bit at many of the corners like a tool (until I realise what I am doing and stick me leg out/down!!! Embarassed ).

Anyhoo ... from wheelie to dry tank ... here we go Cool

lol, cheers mate, well i had a look at your other vids on youtube and by the looks of it you could teach me some serious skills on road bikes so might have to hook up for a track day when i get my bike rebuilt!! the vid on the r6 was pretty impressive round rockingham.

you thinking of riding mx this weekend then? tom

The R6 at the-rock one is ok, but I think my fave was/is this one ... https://au.youtube.com/watch?v=T6bULT4Jbgo&fmt=18 as I am like a little terrier that won't let go of the big guys trousers!! Very Happy

Now I have a trials bike and an MX bke to keep me entertained, I think trackdays are going to wait until spring for me ... so you have time to get your bike rebuilt Smile

Yep, thinking Tonymoto - assuming I have sorted out my C&S ...

What size sprockets do you run? My bike evidently had 13-45, looking at C&S, I think the stock is 13-48 .... I was thinking of getting say 13-50 to try and help me keep it in the power a bit ... and so I don't stall it out of the gate again Embarassed

If you mean the vid in the OP, https://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=hzAvO244og0&fmt=18 it was only a cheapy camera I got from lidl .. and it is quite literally elastic banded to the side of my lid!! Embarassed

Its a "Traveler DV-5000 Digital HD Video Camera" to be precise if you want to look it up ... it cost £60 IIRC.

Well got my C&S kit Smile

https://www.bikechatforums.com/files/cands.jpg

...

But sadly I need to rebuild the swingarm bearing sand the linkage bearings ... when I got the bike they were fairly fecked - stripped and greased ... but after the hammering of Cusses Gorse, sadly there is masses of movement ... so I have had to buy a full rebuild kit ... at the princely sum of £102!!! ... feck ... Sad ... I am not convinced the old stuff will come out cleanly it was that badly rusted in ...

Inc the coupla other little bits I ahve got for it (wheel bearings and clutch cable) that is now the fatter part of £200 in replacement parts since cusses gorse!! Shocked ...

Oh and my van clutch slave cylinder is leaking ... so I need to fix the van too Sad

This weekend is looking doubtful ....

But not totally out of the question Smile

Got my new swingarm and linkage kit through now!! Smile

But sadly not enough time to fit it before Sat ... so MX this weekend is off Sad (going to minimoto tonight instead though Cool).

Hopefully all the bearings will come out/go in ok and I'll have it ready for next w/e ... are you game next w/e?!!? Thumbs Up

Wow ... that took a LOT of banging and swearing ... but I now have bashed all the old ones out - bashed all the new ones in and my new swingarm and linkage bearings are all in place Smile

The new C&S is on ... changed the coolant to 90% antifreeze (didn't know how old the freeze was in there) so I am good to go!! Thumbs Up

When you next going Tom C RX50? Smile

3rd times a charm!! Thumbs Up Laughing

I haven't ridden one personally, but it seems the consensus is that the 250 4-strokes are the most logical choice for a noob on the rideability front.

My bike is an 01 and scares the crap out of me!! Very Happy

Its just different ... I was making good progress over the day Thumbs Up ... think I'll be much quicker next time, as now I know the track more, I have started to 'double' some of the jumps Cool ... it actually makes the lap easier than doing them as singles!! .. its all about confidence and building up to it though suppose (or just taking your brain out and going for it!! Very Happy ... having Tom to follow round was a great help and really spurred me on to push harder Thumbs Up

As I have had to do a few bits to it to get it up to scratch, my bike has cost me ~900 sobs.

Remember I am a noob to MX, but the going rate seems to be
£25-30/day

A course is going to set you back what £200-£300?!?!?!? ... that'll buy you a fair bit of tracktime on your own bike to learn how to do things Wink
