Whats the point in trying to draw members away from a rival forum? Especially one as good as this?

To be fair the woman's original post did have some relevance (if slight) and would have probably still got a load of posts if one of the regulars posted a pic up just for the sake of it.
While this person seems to be yet another 'I'm big I am' forum wannabee from my point of view. (Though not sayinf that woman shouldn't have been marked as spam.)

Yes this forum only had 216 members at one point, but afaik new members were not gained by spaming other forums.

Fair enough, but why not put the link in the links section? Or possibly mail or pm the board admin and ask if it's ok for you to advertise your forum? Just because you don't mind other forums advertising on your's doesn't mean everyone thinks that way.
