well the first thing to do before you even consider doing it up is contact the dvla, with the engine and frame numbers and see if it can be registered, if its been stolen and then recovered by the chav Wink
then you may as well strip it down and sell the bits on ebay, or chuck it in the bin,
if you can register it at a later date then sweet, let the mission continue,

the gs125 is a reasonably simple bike, and not really much went wrong apart from rusing away,

you should be able to use a gn125 or gz125 ignition and wiring diagrams if you cant find the gs125 one

If it is probably stolen as you say, yes, yes it does matter, you need to check it out, so you don't get done with handling stolen goods.

STOP

To the best of my knowledge the police do not remove engine numbers.

Frame number should be somewhere near the headstock.

There is something extremely fishy about this. I would strongly advise that you don't continue with this transaction.

I am proud to say that the suzuki gs125 is not stolen, the chav was telling the truth but he did have 10 stolen bikes in his garden Neutral .

anyways i rang the dvla told them the engine number and frame number, it was a written off bike then the 1st owner left it outside his house, got stolen trashed into old broken down house then got left in a scrape yard intill the chav bought it and thought he could repair it but didn't have time as he had 56 bikes in his garden and 3 cars Laughing .

anyways heres are the pictures

now thats a shitter! Shocked

Do you realise how much work thats likely gunna take?

Id say in parts upwards of £200 just as a start, im expecting the C+S is knackered, your gunna wanna replace the lighting etc and god knows how bad the tank/exhaust is...

You tell lies!!! thats perfect for a CAFE racer, or a lil shitty attempt at a street fighter, get it checked before you start or reframe it.

Its nearly runs just needs a full charge hopefully and the rims and tyres are in good condition it has new tyres new brakes pads and the piston are working fully!.

i just want some knowledge with motorcycles like removing the engine parts and carb. and maybe with some time and effort it will be running agian on the road.

Not if its been knicked, it wont see the road ever again mate...
Get the frame numbers checked, if its stolen, get a new frame for it, you'll have to strip the entire bike to re-frame it so u'll get plenty of practice.

Apparantly its not stolen but it has been a write off at some point so depending on what cat (and im expecting a cat b) it's unlikely it'll get a V% back without a new frame.

I might keep it as a Off Road bike, Hey I charged the battery up today and stuck it back in, the bike didn't start up but made a noise like Dzzzzzzzz gzzz. i looked into the coil lead and there was no spark but when i was holding it gave a lil shock to my hand. maybe theres not enough power in the battery ?, i took the battery charger down stairs into the garden and charged it on to the bike and it was still the same. so i took the battery out and now charging it in my room and tommoro im goner check if its starts up. if not maybe ill need a new coil or spark plug. might remove the engine 2moro as well Very Happy. anyways this is not my real serious bike i wanna ride out i just wanna get the expirence rebuilding a bike. so theres not hassle!.

your theory could be right on the battery mate Thumbs Up possible coil but if its been out collectin rust an not being run then it will probably need a new one, an a new spark possibly?
If it was me i'd try battery, sometimes batterys wont hold a charge at all when they get left unused.

Yeah thats what i thought. Im still charging the battery since 4pm now. goner turn it off now so its uhm 11.15am now. if there isn't enough power 2moro im goner get a new battery. if it still doesn't start I'll get a new coil lead + Battery from eBay and a new spark plug ofc.

anyways i tell you if it starts tomorrow. Mad

No luck Sad , I think i can hear the starer motor trying to tick over. but today the bike tipped over and i saw petrol leaking and found out the fuel line that is connected from the carb is not connected to the cylinder. Going to buy a new tool set soon and start working on it.

Looks what i found that might come in handy Smile

The fuel line should surely be connected from the carb to the petrol tank and go no were near the cylinder. I shouldn't bother with the tool kit looking at it I think a box of matches may work better.

Ow yea that will earn him loads of experience mate nice input there! Rolling Eyes
There should be a pipe from the tank to the carb yes, as for tools mate, try halfords pro, they're relativly cheap and come with a guarntee, except for the ratches which you just buy a repair kit for.

Get some pics of the carb set up mate, i'll see if i can find a manual for you Thumbs Up .
