Cheap Warm Hands Tip

After toying with getting heated grips and deciding against it as I am mostly a fair weather wuss, I picked up some of these: -

Slipped in my gloves above my hands they work really well for half an hour or so. By no means a comparable solution to grips or heated gloves, but I was seriously impressed.

I carry one use heat pad things, under my saddle with my tools, didn't know you could get reusable ones until now.

cheaper option , get two wires and run one from positive to one end of your handle bars , and negative to the other end and the current of the battery should do the rest

Even cheaper option.

Take your hand off the bars and stick it in one of the gaps in the fairing that lead to the engine. It's free, you can even do it with both hands if you bikes has a manual choke/ fast idle.

Even cheaper, slow down a bit, the difference between 65-70 and 80mph is a lot when your cold. And riding in traffic helps.

And make sure your warm before you set off, you will never warm up on a bike in winter.
