Well, I'm not really fussed where, I can ride wherever (petrol permitting!).

Looking at locations of people who posted on the other topic, perhaps round the Medway towns area would be better?

Or perhaps even further out towards the coast?

Why not have an organised rideout to Boxhill? Medway towns is okay I suppose but a bit bloody boring once you've lived there for a fair few years...

I'm planning on going to Boxhill on Sunday the 16th if anyone's interested? It'll take an hour and a half to get there without Motorways, so a good rideout

If not then something local will do I suppose..

Well I'm in the Medway towns myself so I usually go M20-M25-A25 and that takes you on a decent enough ride. Without motorways an alternative route to the A25 will be needed but that's a good thing 'cos motorways are boring

Meeting in the medway towns sounds good, I reckon I can get there fairly easily without using a motorway

I'll hopefully be going there quite a bit this summer so just tag along a bit later in the year when you have your bike.

BoxHill is special because it's a bike meet, because they serve lovely burgers and because it's a biking mecca. Plus, a lot of others from the forum go there too and it's a good chance to meet up. Used to be a pretty good stunting scene there too until someone crashed into the crowd

Well do you want to meet up on the way or something? Maybe meet at BoxHill etc if you want? I'm thinking it'll be quicker for you to get on the M25 and meet me on the way (say, Clacket Lane services?) Then we could ride to BoxHill on the A-roads from there.

Yeah, that should be fine, its about time I learnt to corner properly, been getting rusty driving around central london in the wet most of the time, not much fun!

Well I'll be wearing jeans and have a pillion (although neither of those stopped me getting my knee down before ) so I won't be going too quick anyway. Plus the fact that PC Plod and all his mates will probably be there too means that I'll be sticking to most of the limits near BoxHill anyway. The A25 is quite twisty in a few places but mostly a mix of sweepers tbh.

So is that a plan then? Meet at Clacket Lane Services? About 11.30 okay?
