heated grips? how to fit?

do heated grips require special mechanical knowledge to fit? if not, how long would it take a layman to do the job (ie me)

which heated grips would you recommend for a ybr 125 (can these be removed after fitted, for future bikes?)

Basic knowledge required really with a little care. Oxford hotgrips available for about £40. They are good. Many of the problems advertised are down to the poor connectors they supply not fitting properly. When you push the connector together one side often pushes the other contact out of the holder.

Not likely that you will be able to get them off again for another bike but as long as you don't use the glue supplied there is a small chance.

Just fitted some Dr Bike heated grips to my Varadero. i know its a 1000cc but i'm sure your battery will cope. the instructions are very simple and easy to read/understand. Just don't rush things and make sure everything is ok before the final fit.

With regards to moving from bike to bike, I would say not really, once in place it will be easier and less likely to knacker them if you just got new.

The Dr Bike grips are Oxford grips just branded differently and from J&S cast about £26.00, when I got mine they had a 20% off offer too.

I fitted a set of oxford on my thundercat last week.Honestly its a piece of piss.just take your time.
