The thing that annoyed me was more that someone with a vested interest in selling a product is using BCF's general chat section to advertise their warez.

Its irrelevant if it is technically defined as spam or not.

The person is using BCF as free advertising, will they donate 10% of the profits from sales generated here to korn for increased bandiwidth? i doubt it...

This is Spam, wrong section, post entirely to do with selling an item by a commercial operation, not an individual.

Hardly ever see posts from this user on other topics either.

Don't understand why you would necessarily want to be made aware of this anyway. Personally, I would have thought that buying leathers is an fairly irregular occurnace, and would need a lot of research, which would involve checking at HG for offers anyway.

Perhaps people do drop 150squid on impulse, but I know I don't.

What I seem to be getting from this thread is because the guy works for HG it is spam when he tells us. However if I was to go to HG and find out the EXACT SAME information it is not spam?

All I can say is cheers, if I had the cash I'd buy a set, however my house mate has just bought a bike and needs gear so I will show him this.

Here's a concept: why not make your own website (something like, nameofyourcompany.com) then you can advertise all of your deals on there?

Sounds crazy I know, but then people can continue use this site to chat about bikes. If they want to know about your deals, they can visit your website.
