You are allowed to angle the bike slightly from the kerb.

Using the rear brake will make the turning circle smaller.

Random tips. Laughing

You can't see much tbh.

Keep revs high whilst slipping clutch gently to keep stable.
Rear brake to control the speed whilst doing this.

Important one is LOOK where you want the bike to go not down at the road in the U-Turn.

Good luck! Thumbs Up

If you can turn your bike in the road 'in control' without putting feet down etc then your doing that part right. But as said above, you can pull off a perfectly controlled turn, but if you ain't putting in the correct obs then fail. If your doing your full rear, then lifesaver as you start the actual turn, then lifesave when you stop then Thumbs Up

didn't see any obs at the beginning as you are not in view, but there were no obs half way round and didn't see any obs before moving away after the manouvre. i would say obs are your issue.

Obs for U turns.

Good look ahead, exadurate the movement
Good look in your right hand mirror, yet again make it seen your doing it by moving your head
Then a lifesaver but one where you twist your head round to see properly not just a glance.

If alls clear then start going forwards dragging the rear brake, then just before you start to turn look back up the road the way your pulling you uturn this is your second lifesaver before commiting to turn.

Then try get it in as close to the kerb as possible, then back into the safety position.

wooley thats the same as me, i dont know what it is but the weight of a full tnak just gives me a bit more confidence.

And i HAT half tank, when you can feel the fuel sloshing around when your leaning from one side to the other. Really used to do my head in on the NSR.
