Seeing as they should know from your age and length of licence held that a restriction will be needed to be legal.
It should not be classed as a mod.
Mods are usually things that will increase the value/power of the bike.
Thus make their payout risk higher.
Now you could argue that as a newer rider you do fall into a higher risk band, but they should have already worked all that in by your age/ licence held details anyway. ____________________ Just because my bike was A DIVVY, does not mean i am...... |

Didn't declare mine. Although if you do an online quote and compar the difference between restricted and not, restricted omes out more expensive.
I don't think it's because they consider it a performance enhancing mod, more so that a restriction kit is somewhere between £150 and £250, so adds value to the bike, despite it being a horrible horrible mod ____________________

Using GoCompare, not all companies gave a price for restricted mod without phoning! I have it sorted now though. Got Fully Comp for 730 incl. legal cover. TT600 restrictor only £30 though ____________________ Current Bikes: Husqvarna Svartpilen 401 (2020)
