Once on new years day, purely because my pillion didn't have gloves on. I didn't think it was a good reason to waste my time to be honest.

They didn't find anything wrong with the bike (even though it has a clearly stamped "not for road use" exhaust) and never even asked if it was restricted (which it isn't). Luckily I'd just had it MOT'd.

Twice in the car since I was 17 and never on the bike in the last six years. Ive been really lucky, never even had a single point or on the spot fine. Considering some of the things I got up to when I was younger all I can say is the state of the policing of the roads in cumbria is awful Laughing

Now Ive gone and done it Shocked

Once. They were convinced my bike was stolen because i'd just sorted a gearbox problem and was riding it a few times 'round the block' with no side panels so the battery and some wiring was visible. Even when the details came back they still wanted ID as they didnt believe the registered keeper and the person insured was me! Laughing But i've had the bike stolen once before so i'm actually glad that they did the checks and stopped me!

Got "pulled" whilst pushing my incredibly broken RS125 along to the nearest petrol station in the hope that was the problem....

They wanted to do me for being in control of a motorbike with no helmet on :S

And again the day I got my CB-500, it wasnt MOTed at the time so I was the most polite and gracious person ever to be pulled by the police!

Got away scott free Smile

3 times, First was in Portsmouth I had a mate on the back and was with a mate on a GSXR750 also with someone on the back we raced off the lights and a cop car coming the other way turned around and pulled us, He was pulling me because "I accelarated to fast from the traffic lights" Realistically I dont think I got much over 40 and I didn't hold the speed. I was bricking it I had had the bike nearly 6 months it was dark I had a dark visor on my rear tyre was getting bad I had a lairy can and was unrestricted, I got off with a lecture. I had 2 on the A13 first for undertaking a line of cars at double the speed limit with a Police car behind me and second for over taking a marked police bike at double the speed limit.

I should really get my eyes tested. I got a warning and got told to (Paraphrasing) watch out for all the foreigners in East London, they come over here and drive shit peices with no tax test insurance or licence and they never check there mirror etc. etc. Laughing
Last one I got 3 points but I got off lightly as was unrestricted at the time.

Once for 40 in a 30, no charge.

Once for carrying a pillion whilst on L plates (pillion had a full licence which meant it was okay in those days).

Once for permitting an uninsured rider to use my bike, 4 points

Once for doing 58 in a 30, 3 points

Once for crossing double white lines, 3 points.

Once for doing 45 in a 30 in a car, no charge.

Once for doing 100 in a 50, no charge.

Once for doing 90 on a motorway, no charge.

Once for doing 80 in a 50, no charge.

Once for being suspected of being a rider who had ignored a police request to stop, not me though, no charge.

Once for my two mates to be done for small numberplates, me, no charge. I had in fact just lost both indicators in the Peak district after falling off several times, but the rozzer put his clipboard on my rear rack and no one noticed.

Once for doing 40 in a 30 on my trail bike, no charge.

These are what I can remember from 83-present.

Edit
Oh yeah, just remembered, once for doing 34 in a 30, honestly. I would've been banned under the totting up rules, but the old bill ballsed it up and I got no points and my fine back in the from of a bank of England cheque so posh I thought it was a fancy receipt.

got pulled in my car... was talking on my phone. Copper (on a pan-euro) said "do you know why I pulled you over"

I replied "probably for the same reason I just cut my mum off mid sentance and kicked my mobile under my seat!"

he laughed at that, then told me my tax was out of date... I told him to look six inches to the left on the screen as I had blu-tacked the new disc next to the old one as I had just got the new tax and was in a rush. He found that funny too. He escorted me to a lay-bye so I could continue the phone call and let me on my way without any penalty! Decent bloke! (and proof honesty works!)

Been nicked speeding by scameras twice, but weasled out of them on technicalities!

Last time I got pulled was about 5 years ago, in car rather than on bike.

Never on bike, yet, I'm sure it'll come at some point.

Twice, once for a front L that had fallen off, and once for riding like a tit outside the station.
