Got a couple of long flights coming up and want to get myself a pair of noise suppressing headphones (I've booked seats at the front of the plane for the extra legroom - but it means there's a chance I will have someone's nipper bawling right next to me Smile )

I want a pair of over the ear headphones and was hoping to spend less than £50, so has anyone got any that they can recommend?

Cheers Thumbs Up

I swear by Bose noise cancelling headphones - the wife picked up a pair on eBay in the States for about £50, but it's quite rare they're that low in price.

Thanks, but Bose are a bit out of my price range.

What are the Sony ones? Are they noise cancelling? I've got a decent pair of normal headphones, but it's noise supressing ones I need.

Ta.

Well after a lot of looking around last night, got myself a pair of Goldring NS1000. According to the reviews they are meant to be one of the best "budget" headphones for noise suppresion. Bit more than I wanted to pay, but it'll be worth it to sit in peace!
