yeah you should be fine, just phone them up and tell them the situation and the letter arrived yesterday but was sent on 7th, they will be a bit more helpful and say you made a few mistake and everything but dont hope on it to much!! well a friend of mine was practicing round the block and got pulled for speeding and he has no licence or insurance, he got either 6 or 9 points i think(idiot) and he took his test and passed, in 2 years if you get one more driving offence then instant ban. however unfortunately it will rape you car insurance - he had a 900 quid nisan almera and it was 2300 to insure so just tread carefully and good luck with your test! ____________________ And on the 7th day the lord said..lets get pissed |

You can get 11 points on a provisional and still get your full license, but yeah, like was said 1 more point and you will be back to learner
Plus any more than 6 points and the insurances start to get interested, and when they get interested it tends to make your wallet lighter
STOP SPEEDING!!!

The big yellow box usually provides something of a clue
Seriously though - we all have *those* roads that are just so much fun to ride, but it's a matter of license and death that you learn to behave on it, or at the bare minimum, know it well enough that you're doing the right speed at a) any camera spots, and b) any potential mobile radar traps.
You know how you do a lifesaver at right turns, even though you know that 99% of the time there isn't going to be anyone daft enough to overtake at a junction while you're indicating to turn? Same thing, except the lifesaver is the speed limit, and the idiot overtaking at a junction is a plod with a radar gun.
Disclaimer: I'm pissed, so the above analogy may or may not make sense. ____________________ Current Bikes: 1983 Honda VF400FD / 2003 Honda VT750 Shadow

Get a speed camera detector, I use TomTom and it's helped me hang on to my licence the last few years. You can D/L the torrent, use it on a smart phone and it will cost hardly anything, (apart from a reciever).
Mine packed up in London a few months ago, i pulled over to try in vain to get it working again and when I pulled off I rode straight into a speed trap and got caught doing 38 in a 30 I bluffed my way into paying the fine 4 and a half months late If anyone needs to keep a clean licence for a test or insurance, or can't afford the fine, ring them up and tell them you can't find your licence and get a 28 day extension. I did this 4 times, even paid 2 weeks late on the last extension and got away with it
It's doing nothing that will get you in the sh1t |

For some reason, because he said 'driving' lessons, I assumed he was talking about a car (despite the fact that this is a bike forum, doh )
I thought he'd managed to get done speeding even with someone else in the car with him.
But yeah, easy enough to do on CBT I suppose. |
