Hi, i finished college today to find my key not turning in my ignition, before college it had been perfect and smooth as butter.

After 2 minutes of trying to turn it i managed to make it work. Then i parked it outside my house, and tonight i tried to take the steering lock off and once again the key wouldn't turn. I tried for 10 minutes and nothing, so i had to lift it into the garage with help of my dad.

The only thing i can think of is someone stuck something in the ignition, anyone got any help or suggestions?

Jonnnnn

my NTV used to be like that in that sometimes key in and it'd turn just like that other days it would jam slightly and need to be jiggled to turn the ignition on.

You can spray some WD40 into the barrel I suppose like I did and the problem on my NTV went away for a few weeks.

Like above poster said, WD40 but spray on your key, then do a quick inny/outy in ignition. Repeat once or twice. Happened to me when I left bike outside in rain for a few nights.
