So I've been seeing this chick for about 2 weeks, but things have moved very fast for some reason.

She's pretty much my ideal girl - smart, pretty and can take a joke.

But she bailed the first 2 times we were supposed to meet up. Then we met up and we got on like a house on fire. And met up again about 5 times.

Now her ex has has been removed and added on facebook a couple of times.

I haven't mentioned anything but she said someone was giving her grief. I decided to stay out of it.

Feeling a bit mugged off now as she's added him again!! Obviously feelings still there?

I'd be risking a lot, but I'm thinking about saying something. But don't know whether to question her directly, make a passing comment, or ignore it? Maybe even ask her if it's too soon as it was only 1 month after they broke up that we hooked up.

Tricky one that mate, all I can suggest is try not to get too attached to her too early. You probably figured that out for yourself like but best to chill and not get too far ahead of yourself if there's a risk of getting carried away with it. Not worth risking getting hurt this early on by diving in too deep like!

Only get involved in the ex stuff if you feel you can properly handle it, if not then just ask if she's ok. It's only fair you know what's going on even if you don't get involved.

I think you're both totally right.

Have kept my nose out so far so might as well carry on doing that. If I see her change in any way, or if she mentions anything, I'll ask her if she's ok.

Although it seems like we really are a good 'fit', I need to use my head a bit and be pragmatic early on....... Not easy when there are emotions in the way, though.

It's two weeks. Leave it alone, she may have someone giving her jip. she may have a lot on her plate. What would you do if she didn't have a face book? In the old days we just got on with it. You found out about someone over weeks months years. we only told the other party about one or two ex partners and then made them out to be shabby even if they were the best ever.

Yeah and for some reason if you ignore you they get "in to you" more.

A girl on monday told me how she's fancied me since she turned 18 and started going out at chicagos (like 2-3 times a week ).

She's 19 now. And talked to me for the first time on this Monday. Gave her my number cause i'm too nice to say "go away".

Been shit with replies in texts, (not on purpose honest) but then she texts me more and more.

For once... I'm not really looking forward to working at Chicago's tomorrow night

Also, as for the girl adding ex on and off several times, there is still feelings.

Hell one girl I nearly got with kept doing so with her ex. And they got back a couple of times and broke up a couple of times Ended up just leaving it. Silly moose.

personally i would not ask a girl about her ex. don't try to take whatever she is doing on the chin, but rather brush it off. if you keep thinking maybe she and her ex will get back together then you may end up being a really crap partner.

i always say to myself "just be yourself, and be great and that way the only guy on my girls mind, is me"

if it does bother you so much, and you feel abit insecure then you can get her to talk about her past etc and see if she has anything to say about him. from past experiences, it's a really bad idea to say don't talk to him anymore. kinda makes you seem like a jealous control freak.

i mean i am sure you have had feelings for ex's. feelings don't go away like that anyway. it's natural

I've come to a conclusion. Ain't going to say anything because it's not my place.

And I'm going to try and take it easy. Whatever happens happens.

But this way I'm going to give it time to develop naturally and if it doesn't work out then I won't get hurt as bad as if I'd given it everything at the start.

As for the seeing someone with a boyfriend - forget about it. If she does it to him, as soon as the fire goes out between you she'll do it to you with someone else.
