Anyone know a good online service that has a listing of second hand bikes and their market value?

Bike and TWO magazines usually have a whole section on second hand bikes with their trade values, insurance group and a short review etc etc.

But there are bike magazines out there purely for trade values like cars. Also try getting Bike Trader and checking out other bike prices etc.

I bought my VFR400 on Saturday via Bike Trader's website and was also able to get an idea of the prices for the kind of bike I wanted too. It seems that most bikes in the mag are on the net and you can do a decent search on there to specifying all the details of the bike you want, where you want it and how much etc.

After trawling through many VFRs I found mine! Very Happy (see avatar) just a shame I don't have a full bike license yet as it's not the same sitting on it at night making revving noises.... Embarassed

Anyway, if you are looking for a second hand bike then take a look at their site.

Used Bike Guide is also really good, WHSmith stock it.
Its an A5 sized book, and it is really handy. Its probably more comprehensive than TWO and BiKE mag. Thumbs Up

Remember kids, bikes aren't like lego. You can't easily take a part from one bike and then fit it to another.
