I've seen uglier bikes. Any recent Kawasaki or Suzuki sportsbike for example.

Nice bike, only trouble is when you get next to this sort of thing they always seem small.

Ugly? Yes.

Ugly like the new R1? Absolutely not

I like it. It has some weird features and that is what endears it to me.

I wouldn't buy one, because i couldn't spare the other kidney (need to sell that to pay for the wedding)

If you painted them all grey, everyone would say they were ugly... apart from perhaps the 675 and the very latest ducatis which are slightly less ugly. Face it. Sports bikes are all ugly these days. People just get dazzled by the shiney colours.

I can't think of many bikes I go 'Cor, that looks awesome' and this BMW makes me do that. The XB9R made me do that when it came out. Most sports bikes I like the look of (stuff like the SP1 and the 675) grew on me over time. Otherwise they are all pretty plastic fantastic. I quite like the new R6, but again that grew on me. When I first saw it I thought "urgh!".

I like short squat bikes with exposed engines. Some are great looking (like the Buell) and some are hideous (like the Aprilia Tuono) but they all have more visual character than a kayazukida 600 or 1000.
