If the woman had not pretended her kid was missing, and had just sent the kid to live with a relative for a few weeks against the kids will, while she went on holiday, that wouldnt be kidnap.

So just because the mum pretended that the kid had been abducted, doesnt mean that she actually had been abducted, as the kid was staying with someone with parental consent.

i do feel sorry for the little girl in all this. I know what her mother did was wrong but the little girl will miss her mother, your Mum is your Mum. This little girl will now be passed from pillar to post, she will probably be seperated from her other brothers and sisters. who will she cuddle now her mum has gone?
