Is there anything out there that works for removing black heads?
I seem to have some only on my nose but can't get rid of them!

Cheers Thumbs Up

Stand about a foot away from the mirror and squeeze, bonus points the further away you can stand and still hit the mirror.
Clearasil always seem to advertise making ugly spotty people, normal again Wink

Bottle of witch hazel. Trust me. Its cheap from the chemist. Dab it on with cotton for a few days and it falls off. Works on millia's (milk spots) The rest of that dear stuff just gives you black heads so you keep using it.

And your pours will be open after it though so could happen again. Think your meant to rince your face in cold water it closes pours again. Lots of men have them around their nose as thats where they rub more, ie dirt on hands.

Witch hazel burns them off. Works for me anyway so they just fall off. I dont have black heads I have milk spots sometimes, which I hate! Twisted Evil but thats the only thing that will work on them. Dont pick them or you will get it infected. Then have a big spot there instead. Strips will pull them off but again your pours will be open and you will have black heads again.

Clense every day, keeps them down. Dosnt give them a chance to fill then. I reccomend garnier soft cleanser or no 7 soft and clean Mr. Green

Those sticky trips than you put over your nose / cheeks etc. are brill. I've pinched them off my missus a couple of times and they really do work.

I normally get a pan of boiling water from the ketal, leave for 5 mins then just put your face over it under a towel. Home made steamer.
I just stay under for 5-10 untill you feel the sweat pour off...Its the best feeling ever.
Sometimes I wipe with witch hazel - but can sting - or wipe your face with a white paper towel and see the dirt Shocked then wash under cold water to close the pours.
fresh faced - Love it Thumbs Up

Listerine is as good as Clearasil, and a lot cheaper.

Use a damp warm facecloth to gently massage your skin once a day until they're gone.

Or.

A tube of Retin-A from a an online pharmacy or dermatologist will get rid of them better than any other product. Ask any celebrity!

Other than that a good skin care regime using a mild face wash and an exfoliator (C&C Exfoliating Face Wash is quite good on both counts) morning and night will keep them at bay.

Don't use anything with alcohol, it just irritates the skin.

BTW, I had nodular acne when I was younger was given Roaccutane for months and still get Retin-A on script, so this is from experience.

Alcohol strips the Sebum off your skin and irritates your pores causing them to produce more Sebum than was probably there in the first place.

I have no idea how Clearasil got to where it is today, it's products are shite.

For particularly stubborn blackheads, use one of these.
