Does sound odd and you can't hear the gear drive until the bike is revved.

if the remote starter was fitted properly then it shouldn't even try to start if it's not in neutral...

I think you are getting confused with the VFR400 NC##, the CBR400s were camchains IIRC (gotta admit not 100% sure!! Embarassed ... did own one at one point too!!! Shocked) The VFRs were deffo gear driven though, and the combination of the gear cams Thumbs Up and the odd timing of the little V4 VFRs does make them sound strange ...

it hadnt been warmed up at all it was cold , so maybe that made it sound abnormal as well as the poor sound quality.

Because you're clicking the post button twice. Once the post button is clicked, the post is sent, eventually, the summary page will load up.

The NC29 and the NC30 are both gear driven cams.

I cant remember the name for them, But theres like, a second spring loaded cog, side by side with the main cog. Its designed to quieten the whine down.

Removing it (Or in the NC30's case, *them*), makes it whine louder, And also is a "Tuning mod". Laughing

It just takes a bit of drag off the engine thats all. Probably doesn't even add up to 0.5hp.

As for the comment about him having a second bike behind him. It would have to be another Honda NC29. They have a very distinctive sound. Wink Thumbs Up

There was only 2 options really .... remote keyfob start .. or you simply edited the sound on the video Wink

To make it more impressive, you should do the vid looking at the dashboard ..
