I've seen it before. I think it's a great film...it's just a bugger that everytime I'd tried to download the sequel it's been without subtitles...or spanish. Sad

Yeah it was great! But I missed the first 40 minutes so had to get the g/f to tell me what it was all about (one of her favourite films).

However I am now tired at work as I had stayed up to watch "Seven Years in Tibet" the night before. Shifty

Also the Japanese schoolgirls were cute which is nice.

Kawada (bloke with bandana, think that's his name) fired shot's into the air when with noriki and nahraha (damn japanese names, this will do a lot for my Karma) as the neck pieces had microphones in them, which made it seem like he shot them both Smile

I thought it was great film personally, Mitsuko was evil Shocked Oh and apparently battle royal 2 is crap Sad

SO SO TRUE! Just have to wait to see what they have done with "Dark Water". Silly Americans, have run out of ideas for films. Believe the new Tom Hanks film is a remake of a British Film.

Evil or Very Mad

Ichi The Killer is superb Very Happy

Part of the end sequence cracks me up everytime...

"Wow! This is AMAZING!"

Anyhow, Battle Royale, great movie. I got the special edition DVD some time back.

Did C4 show the ending where they kill Kitano (Best death ever!), and Nahara and, uh, that bird escape on the boat, and Kawada dies after realising that secret?

Or did they show the other one?

Razz

Its obvious it happens anyway.

The film isn't really about an ending, its about the middle bit.

Y'know, where stuff happens Razz

The end to Battle Royale is quite strange and boring really...

The new Tom Hanks film is called The Ladykillers, it's essentially a remake of the British comedy classic of the same name starring amongst others Alec Guinness. However the remake is being made by the Coen Brothers, which means it's not exactly a straightforward remake...
