Hi

Brunstrom at it again.

Latest idea is to cart off cars after a fatal accident with the bodies still inside to clear the roads quicker. This is despite the reason that the roads are closed so long is that he wrote the manual on investigating accidents which basically treats the scene as a murder scene hence massive delays.

All the best

Keith

Brilliant! So now, they are not only being highly disrespectful to the deceased in the car by treating them as nothing more than another inanimate object... They are now putting commerce above common dignity!

I'm surprised he didn't suggest that bodies are just left at the side of the road with a sign saying warning us of the dangers of speeding.

An alternative method is to put the vehicle on a low loader, take it to a fire station where what we need to do can be done with dignity and in privacy and the road could be open perhaps an hour earlier

I couldn't help laughing. Could you imagine driving past a low loader with a person slumped at the wheel of the car that's on the back Laughing

He's off his trolly Rolling Eyes

Isnt a dead body an inanimate object?

Im sure they wouldnt mind, after all, they are dead.

I think its a good idea.

If it was a member of my family, i can only imagine that i would be overwhelmed with the feeling of great loss and wanting to keep it "low key" and not creating a drama than getting the body out the car.

thats just me though.

I agree, I expect the sense of shame I would feel at the thought of all those commuters being late for work would definitely mean I would wish for the roads to be reopened as soon as possible. With a bulldozer if need be ("Get that wreck of the road!" ... Ah yes, A Bridge Too Far, great movie).

Joking aside, this is a good idea. But why do they need to shut lanes when they're picking up litter?
