Am I the only one who thinks that 9 times out of 10 they look gash?

In particular, the stainless steel jobbies that are half blue. Sick

I think they do sound nice an that, and they can look ok on some bikes (blue thundercat and earlier blue R6 for examples) but otherwise... Sick

i think some look ok, depend son the can and the bike and colour sceme and other stuff etc.

that's no secret - just look at a the exhaust on a naked bike with clean stainless steel exhausts - they have the same effct because of the heating up and cooling down of the metal.

i had a dual port blue flame one on my NC29 and it sounded amazing and looked great, but had to get rid off because it was not road legal Sad .

There is one down side to them that i found and that is they are quite expensive, mine was £300.

Not a chance. I have the same can, even with the db-killer in its still louder than a Yoshimura tri-oval.

Doesn't sound too great when cruising at low rpm, but get it up the revs and holy shit! or on the over run! double holy shit!

I had a Blue Flame on my 7R. I think it looked OK and sounded really good. Mine was the twin port with baffles removed. I used to get loads of comments (even from Mille riders) about how it sounded.

The carbon fibre ones don't take well to loads of kill switch backfiring though. A few weeks ago the metal end piece detached itself from the rest of the can at approx 160 (kmh of course Wink ). Certainly sounded good on the way home with no end piece.

Thumbs Up

Especially the little plasticy 'blueflame' icon. Cheap looking in my opinion.

If it isn't Micron, akra or yoshi then I'm not too keen.
Must admit though some Devil cans look good, as do a couple remus. Remus motoGP style horn looks ace and road legal!

I've just got a Scorpian can on my zxr from a donar bike since my micron fell off and dented pretty badly and TBH I'm not keen on the one Scorpian either.
