Phanny's thread got me thinking. I've been looking for an album for downloading for a while now, but since it was never released on CD and I don't think anyone's bothered to rip it from vinyl, my search has been fruitless.

It's called "Masterworks", a K-Tel album from 1980, and is a collection of classical music performed on synths. Nearest I've found is someone making a tribute to it on j00choob, but it's a pale imitation : https://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=LqkLSwpdh4s

Track list : https://www.discogs.com/Jeff-Jarratt-Don-Reedman-Masterworks/release/218546

So, anyone out there got a copy, or do I have to get off my fat arse and finally rip it from vinyl myself? Smile

Sod's law. After all this time it's finally out there :-

Just managed to rip it all off the site at 48khz, but still interested if anyone's got a higher quality copy.

Do that. All you need is a cable to join your stereo amp to your soundcard at a total cost of £2. Download Audacity for free and away you go. Save it in as high a quality sampling as you want using your preferred codec.

I've got the gear to do it (FastTrack Pro and Cubase SX3), just being a lazy bastard and wondering if anyone else has done this one yet. I've a pile of vinyl that needs converting, and might get around to it one day.
