It's the second time it's been posted too, the first time it was rated really badly as SPAM. Yet he still posts again.

I had a look at your forum yesterday after seeing the link on yet another (un-related) forum. Looks good etc but looking at the posts, they are like last year!!

Stop spamming!

As long as you don't spam any more you'll be alright, no ones got a problem with owners of other forums posting here and making the odd reference to it in un-related posts, it's just the spam thing that's the trouble starter.

Hang around here for a bit if you want (without spamming Razz ) and when your forums picking up I might check it out sometime, although I'm already on too many forums as it is and don't post on them as much as I used to so another one might get a bit more annoying.

Nice one MacYam. Youv'e addmitted it. I'm sure if you start chatting to people on here you'll make some great friends. Just don't mention anything to do with other forums or people will rate it as spam. Thumbs Up Karma

What, not to spam other bike forums? No offense, advertising your board would be fine if you weren't doing it by spamming. Work on getting your google position better for things like Yamaha Chat and so on, that will help your site a lot more than just posting links to sites like this.

Welcome! Another bit of friendly advice is to read the Karma bit. Your 2 little blobs can be changed by working hard at grammer and spelling. I'm no angel, but I was In the red when I first came here, and I worked my way up. Have fun, and try not to feed the animals, they may bite! Shocked

Don't sweat it. Just become part of the community, who knows what you'll learn, and contribute for others to learn. As Cliff has said, plenty of people start off on the wrong foot, but soon make themselves at home and become a valued member of the forum, no reason you shouldn't.

A thought about your site...
What does it offer that other places don't already do?

I'm not talking about empty forums, I'm talking about usefull information.

If you're creating a forum for a specific model that's not catered for then it's quite reasonable to set somewhere up where other owners can share information. However a generic 'Yamaha' forum offers very little that plenty of other places don't already offer.

If you want to try some web stuff as a 'hobby' why not trying to make an actual website rather than downloading ready made stuff?
