Had a little browse around here and it looks like a really good forum.
Got myself a TZR250 2ma back in october. It is pretty near mint condition and 100% original. Had to replace the power valve control unit and fix vomitting carbs but other than that has been an utter delight. Is a 1990 H plate model with 18700miles on the original bores. Bought from my mates dad who has had it for ten years and had to give up riding (saw very little action). Goes pretty well when it hits 7000rpm and all hell lets loose  .
Always wanted one since they first hit the streets and when I bid him £450 and he accepted I had to stop myself passing out.
Anyway that is the bike  . |

Very nice. Always liked the single seat cover on 'em. About 6 years ago I passed on a battered but road legal blue one which was only £500. In hindsight I should of bought it and fettled it back to spec 
Take care of it, it seems pretty unmolested.

Thanks for the nice comments. This bike is pretty much a one off I reckon in terms of its condition and originality. I don't think I will ever sell it, just adore the thing. Want to put on new tyres, needs a new front indicator due to a rather impressive crack, new gearbox oil, fresh brakes and if I am being picky a new clutch and brake lever as I don't like the paint missing on the ends. When don it will be spot on . |
