Yes,

Blade TOT has finally arrived! But BladeTOT is scared because 120bhp on Avon Azaros on an icey drive is NOT a good thing!

So here's the pictures instead.

SOUND CHECK

so w00t.

Big_Ham, you can suck my shaft! My bike's bigger than yours.. and i managed to put my photos on before YOU did lol. Hope you get your 636 OK
Thumbs Up Karma

Sorry... n00b question to any 929 owners. Why does my steering lock NOT engage. The bars are to the left at the lockstop. I put the key into the barrel, give the bars a wiggle but the lock won't engage! Any pointers!?

I need to sort out clutch biting point.. or simply get on the fucking bike when the weather is slightly nicer!

No 636 for me today. Crying or Very sad

Just got back from the bike shop, they said they're not u sing their van because of the ice. When the weather clears they'll van it down.

Outside their shop is well iced up and they don't want to drop my bike between there and the van, or when getting it into the back of the van.

How on earth can you afford that whilst at uni? I am experiencing jealousy in the most extreme form! Whilst I love being at uni, I can't wait to finish so I can afford to buy things.

All the best, Joe

That's lovely Titz, nice colour too, steering lock might need a bit of WD-40 or penetrating fluid, they can get a bit sticky, have you tried wiggling the key up and down as you are doing it?

Thank you.. I wouldn't want to be like i'm riding a commuter lol.

I don't want to use a disklock because i'd forget and ride off and fall on my arse. I've already had that happen in the back yard when my bike wouldn't move! So i've got to remind myself now!

I've tried all sorts with the steering lock!

I'm probably going to only ride it when it's dry LOL. I'm getting in a fitness frenzy and think that it'll be healthier if i run to uni instead of taking the bike for short journeys since it knackers it!

No doubt, dunlop roadsmarts are being put on now. I've looked at how square the rear tyre is and that Avon's don't really inspire confidence in anybody.

I factored in the cost of tyres and consumables when i bought the bike.

I've got an LED rear light cluster on it, alarm and HID's to be put on soon.

Because I'm a FUCKING ledge. I am an asian with big balls and it's an indication to all the nay-sayers in uni that they can suck my nads! It's more of a political statement to all the preps and pretentious, snotty nosed, upward looking knobends that go to my uni! I do well in lectures, labs and exams and I try to get a job, which I eventuall did. I bought this bike purely because I was testing the water so to say! It's only within a fortnite -spontaneous and unplanned. Selling a bike in the recession at list price - DONE. Buying a bike for less than list price - DONE. I've just taken a page out of instigator's books really.

How can i afford it?

Student loan with the notion that a graduate job will cover it. Technically speaking, i only paid £1000 for it; insurance is the same as the 6R. All in - £2400 including delivery. I've spent so far £120 on extras - these are LED rear cluster lights, HID front headlight, Acumen Alarm, and £220 going onto rear tyres. I had a budget of £3000 intially, but that was he max. It's not cosmetically perfect, it's got a crack by the mudguard (whcih i've plastic welded) and painted again - weren't too fussed. Tank is chipped (not noticable) from tank bag, but it's gonna get chipped anyway.

I bought the bike because i wanted to ride it all year round, and I personally wouldn't want a mint looking bike anyway. You know my feelings and resentments towards RatBikers so it's a comprimise between the state of Ratbikes and Craig's bikes lol!

Build quality shines through too.

You are quite right though, I'm really tempted to use my over draft and but a firestorm or TLS, not sure what I would get for my bike as is, I might clean it up (again) in the summer and sell it on, use overdraft to make up the rest, I never use my overdraft any how and its about £1400 I think?

There's alot of people like that at my uni too but not as bad as some (are you at Edinburgh?) makes me laugh and as you mentioned, it feels good to have a bike that sounds like hell riding around campus.

All the best, Joe

Nah Joe,

Used to be in edinburgh, but back in Loughborough - I am officially hearalded as the only student bum to own a superbike at uni. When i was in 2nd year, there as a guy that had an SP1.. THAT sounded the clappers! But yeah, i'm not on first name basis with campus security purely because of how i used to ride my ZX6R at full chat.. But it's fun though.

You've actually gone and bought a Honda....I thought you were joking Wink

Looks to be a fair example, Blades pre 04 tend to stand the test of time pretty well. Nice one.

Put some clothes on though, you'll catch cold.
