Vista Home Premium and XP Pro Volume Licence

I'm after a copy of both of these if anyone can help?

My laptop running Vista crashed last night and now wont boot. Tried 'safe mode' and 'last known good config' but no joy!

I have licence keys for both, just no media.

Alternatively, if anyone can help with an iso of Windows XP Pro, and *ahem* key, it would be most handy!

Sometimes they load the windows onto a partition on the HD if they don't give you the CD.

What make of laptop is it ?

It's an Acer. Piece of sh*t!

I only got a 'Vista experience upgrade' CD with it. Will try a BartPE CD tonight.

My trusty old P3 HP laptop is still going strong and a reliable backup! Might just end up buying a new battery for it and flogging the Acer.

Becasue I said so.

Brother had an Acer desktop, kept losing the sound card due to poorly coded drivers. Acer support didnt want to know.

Ex's laptop was an Acer, similar sound card problems.

I suspect mine is a driver issue.

If a manufacturer can't properly code drivers, they shouldn't use the hardware. Dell are just as bad.

Acer probably didn't code the drivers. They more likely branded whatever driver version the hardware manufacturer submitted.

I don't like Acer either, not the best hardware out there. Could be worse tho mate, could be a Medion
