for all the guys that have or had bandits. where would the best place be to get my frame converted with a R1 rear set unit complete with lights etc thanks ash

i think that most folks grab the unit themselves when changing seat units/subframes rather than get the guy that's going to fabricate/weld a couple of brackets on to source them ....

if you can use a grinder and welder you could do it yourself, even without the welding abilities you could prep it all ready to get a welder to glue it all together ...

done exactly how you want it then....

jobs like that and the only thing i can't do is any aluminium welding

get a r1 subframe and complete seat unit,
grind off the old steel subframe, patch and weld the cut off points, and fabricate and weld new subframe points,
job done, very unoriginal though, why not look for a seat unit that hasnt been done to death yet??
