thanks Smile i just tried starting the bike up again, theres definitely something wrong because i need the choke to start (dont usually) and the revs get very low at idle, thing is, when i shake the bike i can hear a bitof fuel in it, probably not much but i can hear some..

RooRoo, a bike needing a choke on starting isn't a problem, that's what it's there for Smile My R6 doesn't /need/ choke but a little bit makes starting easier and warms up quicker.

The idle will be low on tickover if your bike has just started, once it's warmed up it will idle correctly, if it still doesn't idle correctly then just turn the idle adjuster (look in manual or something) to set it right, but you must let the bike warm up before adjusting the idle otherwise it will be set far too high once the bike DOES warm up.

Good luck for the weekend mate and the CBT instructor will be happy to help with any other questions.

I wouldn't recommend that you keep starting your bike though, as that can be more hassle than it's worth at times.

But firstly, fill it up with petrol, turn the reserve off and leave it until your able to ride it at the weekend and take it for a good long blast to clear it out a bit and get it running properly.

Once you've done a fair few miles your going to be able to tell if it has a problem or not, but I doubt very much that it does.
