Ones that fit and the zips don't work loose,
the tests are:
The shin should have some protection on it even my £30 monzas had a hardened shin useful for traffic cones...
you should not be able to bend the dole downwards.
then its a case of ankle protection and such like ____________________ Spain 2008France 2007Big one 2009 We all die. The goal isn't to live forever, the goal is to create something that will. In the end, your life will flash before your eyes. Make sure it is worth watching. |

I have some Alpinestars SMX-4 Waterproof and am very happy with them. Nice and strong and not too uncomfortable whilst walking. |

alpine stars all the way..
so comfy .
i had a pair of smx plus that lasted over 4 yrs with a couple of offs thrown in for good measure,,still good enough to use as winter boots..
as said before lots of people have quality issues with newer sidi boots and change over to alpine stars because of this.
the arlen ness boots sell very well and you have to try them to see if they fit because of the ankle armour is quite stiff.
but at the end of the day `ya pays ya money ya take your choice`
see what suits you.. ____________________ stoke@hg-shop.com

Oxtar(Now TTX) are bloody good boots.
I had an off in them and they were just a bit scuffed up. ____________________ My Flickr |

Hein Gericke touring boots, in black. Three years old, cost a tenner at BMF. Bounced down the road with me a couple of times. Worn under smart trousers for work.
