Hardcore

Anyone here who listens to hardcore? I don't mean darren styles, I mean proper Dutch hardcore along the lines of Neophyte, Partyraiser etc.
I went to a club last saturday (Pont Aeri about 80km from Barcelona) and saw Outblast, Evil Activities and Partyraiser live. Was absolutely MENTAL!
Are there any events similar to Masters of Hardcore in the UK? I know of fantazia but that's too soft...

I didn't ask for your opinion on the music. Most people say it's just noise, but I love it whatever you want to call it.
Anyway I'm moving to the UK for uni and I want to know if there are any good places with hard music. I'm sick of house clubs

Not my kind of thing really, a good laugh to dance to but its not a genre which I would ever bother getting into.

Something like nu-skool breaks is more my thing, and you don't have to be monged off your face in a club to enjoy it. Was listening to the stanton warriors today at work.

Does planet love tour there? I know my brother does djing there and goes off with them a lot. Never been to one myself even though I like hardcore music just not that much to roll in mud with people on drugs

Most people tend to be really drugged up in these places but I'm clean. And with all the skinheads and hooligans that go to those clubs in Spain I was really not keen on being off my head.... Prefer to think clearly and stay out of trouble

It would take an awful lot of incredibly pure drugs to enjoy that, and even then it'd be a push.
Then you would have a comedown intensified with burning shame the following day, like after the first time Svedebo has sex with livestock.

I've always been into happy hardcore type stuff (Darren styles, Hixxy type stuff) which is a bit chavvy if i'm perfectly honest. Never listened to hardstyle before but that Dark Oscillators stuff is epic! Got me hooked on it now, i much prefer having that big thumping bass line rather than a chipmunk singing.

Hard to find any clubs that play this type of music, best bet is to try freepartys (which are illegal, good fun but a bit dodgy) or possibly events like Slammin' Vinyl .
