i'm looking into buying either a new RS 125 or mito and not quite sure, i got my bike serviced the other week and was told by the owner don't buy a RS,buy a mito, beacuse aprilia are going into bankruptcy and the parts take ages to get.which is not good for me as i travel quite a bit each day for work...
yet another bike shop(aprilia dealer) said to buy a RS as mito's are just crap,
can anyone help?????
thanks

Hi

The RS is a good bike, but needs looking after (same with the Mito).

Aprilia are having financial trouble, but have not gone bankrupt.

Parts can take a while for Aprilias, but I suspect a fair amount of that is dodgy shops. I haven't had any real problems, although a wheel did take 6 months ( for an 8 year old bike).

All the best

Keith

I was told if i wanted a sport replica, to stay well away from the Mito as they are prone to breaking down.
(i wouldn't know if its true as i've never owned one)
But i think its all down to how they are looked after and rode..
Its all down to preference really, which one do you prefer and can you afford it?

Get a RS125, just look how many rs125 owners there are around compared to mito owners.

You should really need that many parts on a new bike. Speedo drives keep braking, mines on the 3rd in 16,000km.

Parts aint a problem. Try kickstart motorcycles, port talbot for parts and peter knight for engine bit.
